Our Story
Jason Pollard, the skilled craftsman behind Chester Joinery, has an impressive journey in the world of joinery and carpentry. Let me share some highlights from his story:
Early Beginnings
In 1991, Jason embarked on a YTS course, akin to today’s apprenticeships. Over two years, he honed his skills, earning City & Guilds Joinery qualifications
Craftsmanship Mastership
Jason’s work spanned the North West and beyond. His roles encompassed design, sales, manufacturing, installation, training, mentoring, and management. This diverse experience shaped him into a highly skilled craftsman.

In 2014, Jason received a unique opportunity. He was specifically employed for a bespoke carpentry project in a luxurious mansion in Cannes, France. Unfortunately, due to client confidentiality, we can’t share photos of this remarkable work.
Chester Joinery's Birth
fter years of contributing to other companies, Jason decided to channel his expertise. In the summer of 2015, he founded Chester Joinery, where craftsmanship and passion converge.
Family Involvement
In 2017, Jason’s wife, Adele, joined as the Accounts and Sales Manager. Adele handles all of the day-to-day operations, administration, and social media management. She regularly lends a hand in the workshop and on occasions assists on installations! In 2019, their son, Kyle, joined part-time, learning the business from factory to installation, although Kyle has since left to pursue a his dream job at a Zoo Keeper. During 2023, their youngest son Harrison undertook 2 weeks work experience with Chester Joinery.
Our First Premises
In 2018, Chester Joinery made an exciting announcement: they successfully secured their inaugural premises. This pivotal step enabled the organization to install machinery and commence in-house manufacturing of their own products, eliminating the need to rely on external sources.
Milestone Achievements

Despite challenges in 2020 due to Covid-19, they upgraded their machinery.
In 2023, they won 2 awards at the UK Enterprise Awards

One of their clients had their 1930s home renovation featured in Real Homes Magazine. The alcove units designed, manufactured, and installed by Chester Joinery were showcased.
